Alignment: The Spiritual Red Bull Everyone’s Chugging

What is a word you feel that too many people use?

Alignment. Soul alignment. Divine alignment. Vibrational alignment. Everyone chases it like it’s a sip of magic that will make them whole. They meditate for alignment, journal for alignment, breathe for alignment, whisper it to the sky—and still, nothing. Still hollow. Still jittery. Still running from the parts of themselves that scream the loudest.

Let me tell you the truth: alignment is not calm. Alignment is not soft.

Alignment is heavy. Alignment is the sludge at the bottom of your own ocean, the raw, rotting, unbearable parts of yourself you’ve been pretending don’t exist.

Rage, grief, shame, fear, heartbreak, boredom, regret—they all live there. Alignment is facing them. Feeling them. Naming them.

Letting them rise in your chest until it burns and twists and almost crushes you—and then acting anyway. Alignment is showing up for your life when it’s ugly, inconvenient, and terrifying.

Stop drinking the spiritual Red Bull. Stop chasing the illusion of perfect balance. Real alignment is messy, brutal, and alive.

It’s touching the dirt. Feeling your body. Owning your chaos. Facing what you’ve hidden. And still standing. That’s it. That’s real alignment.

So here’s the invitation: stop chasing alignment. Stop whispering it, buying it, meditating it. Start feeling it. Start owning it. Sink into it. Rise from it. Touch it. Live it. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll find it where it’s always been—deep down, in your own life, in your own body, in your own truth.

Love, Stefanie Anna
