Let’s get one thing straight: I didn’t sign up for the hard parts.
I signed up for the yoga, the sunshine, the soulmates, the joy that hums quietly in the background of life like a playlist on repeat.
But the universe?
The universe had other plans. Apparently, this soul of mine came here for growth. And we all know what growth usually looks like:
Crying in your car.
Asking the stars for a refund.
Googling “spiritual awakening or nervous breakdown?” at 2am.
This is not a manual on how to be happy.
● It’s a trail of breadcrumbs through the beautiful mess.
● A soft place to land when you’re tired of pretending everything’s fine.
● A mirror that says: “you’re not alone, you’re not broken, and you’re doing better than you think.”
● These are stories from the in-between.
Moments when joy slipped in through the cracks.
● Whispers from the divine in the most unexpected places —like the laundry pile or a breakdown in aisle 5.
So welcome.
To the journey, the spiral, the detours.
To the pursuit of happiness… and all the wild, weird, wondrous adventures that come with it.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.
And if something here sparks a laugh, a tear, or a tiny exhale —
then maybe we’re all finding our way home together.
What if happiness was never meant to feel perfect — just real?
With love from the edge of the in-between. Stefanie Anna
P.s. This is the beginning of a blog series — a soft rebellion against shiny spiritual clichés, chasing instead the real, raw, sometimes ridiculous pursuit of happiness… and all the wild things we find along the way.
