What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?
The habit that’s seriously improving my life? Getting rid of bad habits. Not just the “oops, I ate one more cookie” kind – though those count too – but the sneaky little patterns that steal your time, your energy, your headspace. I’m running around conscious, (not all the time of course) noticing myself in action, catching the stuff that doesn’t serve me, and yes, sometimes face – planting into the reality that I’ve been doing it forever 🤪. It’s hard, it’s raw, and it’s mine.
The habits I’m integrating into my life are simple but powerful:
- Micro pauses before jumping into something new—even a second to breathe, reset, and choose how I show up.
- Breathing like it matters – really feeling the air fill me up, reminding myself I’m here.
- Being present – not replaying the past, not rushing to the future, just fully inhabiting this messy, chaotic moment.
- Noticing the small things – the sun hitting your face, the sound of leaves, the taste of your coffee. Tiny moments, but they hit differently when you actually see them.
And here’s the glamorous part: it feels good because I’m doing it for me. For no one else. No audience. Just me, making life a little lighter, a little brighter, a little more mine each day.
Whats one of your messy parts my love?!
